Secure Defense Communication
Overview
When public networks fail or aren’t allowed, Netar’s Network in a Box (NIB) acts as a portable, self-contained private 4G/5G core network — giving your teams battlefield-grade connectivity anywhere.
NIB (Network in Box) is a self-contained Private 4G/5G network solution developed to deliver secure, high-performance connectivity in remote and mission-critical military zones. Unlike traditional communication systems that rely on public networks, NIB enables fully autonomous operation with low-latency, high-throughput wireless connectivity, making it ideal for defense applications such as surveillance, command-and-control, remote operations, and unmanned systems.
Core Capabilities
Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communication (URLLC)
- Enables near real-time communication for tactical decision-making, AI-based surveillance, and drone control.
- Supports mission-critical applications like sensor fusion, robotics, and EW systems with high reliability.
Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB)
- Supports high-bandwidth video streams from surveillance drones, cameras, and field agents.
- Ensures smooth and encrypted video feeds even in high-interference environments.
Massive Machine-Type Communication (mMTC)
- Seamless integration of thousands of devices such as IoT sensors, thermal detectors, and access control systems.
- Real-time data aggregation from sensors for automated threat detection and alerts.
Capacity & Field Performance
- Supports up to 1000 active subscribers including soldiers, surveillance devices, and CPEs.
- Handles 400 simultaneous encrypted voice calls with QoS support.
- Achieved 22 km range for uninterrupted voice calls in line-of-sight field conditions using high-gain antennas.
- Supports backhaul via satellite, microwave, or fiber for remote deployment.
